Originally the concept was intended to be part of a series alongside the Wild Hair project. However, as the shoot developed the imagery took on a different direction, evolving into a more focused beauty portrait series that emphasizes simplicity and the strength of the hairstyling itself. The final images are minimalist in approach, allowing the texture and form of the hair to remain the central element of the photographs.
The shoot was photographed in studio using controlled lighting and simple portrait composition to keep the focus on the model’s expression and the hairstylist’s work. Clothing provided by Zara added a contemporary fashion element while maintaining a clean and understated aesthetic.
