Legs is a fashion test series photographed with models from Major Model Management NYC. The project explores the graphic qualities of the human form through black and white photography, focusing on shape, posture, and the relationship between light and the body.
The series features two models photographed in separate studies. One focuses on strong leg lines and sculptural posing, while the second evolves into a more intimate beauty study exploring light across the skin and the subtle elegance of minimal styling. By removing color from the imagery, the photographs emphasize contrast, shadow, and form—allowing the composition and movement of the body to become the central visual element.
The shoot was created as a creative fashion test designed to explore lighting techniques and composition in a minimalist studio setting. Through carefully controlled lighting and expressive posing, the images highlight both the strength and elegance of the models while maintaining a refined editorial aesthetic.
Black and White Fashion Photography
Black and white photography allows fashion images to focus on light, shadow, and form. Ken Jones frequently explores monochrome imagery as a way to emphasize the sculptural qualities of the human body and the graphic nature of fashion photography.
