A Creative Collaboration with Designer and Stylist Louis Brown
This project began as a collaboration with Louis Brown, a designer and stylist who wanted to create a visual presentation that could showcase his work, styling, and creative direction. Rather than simply photographing individual looks, the goal was to build a small editorial-style production around Louis’s ideas and the products he designed for his clients.
Louis handled the styling and planning for the shoot, bringing together the clothing, accessories, and design elements that shaped the visual direction. From there, we created a small creative team that included models, hair, makeup, photography, lighting, and post-production.
My role was to help translate the concept into finished imagery — building the lighting, directing the models, shaping the mood of the shoot, and creating images that supported Louis’s styling and design work. The shoot became a true collaboration between fashion, styling, photography, beauty, and layout design.
The final series includes eight images, three of which were designed into finished pages by Louis himself. Those page layouts add another layer to the project, showing not only the photography and styling, but also how the images could live as part of a broader editorial or portfolio presentation.
For me, this type of collaboration is one of the most rewarding parts of fashion photography. A strong image is rarely created by one person alone. It comes from the interaction between the designer, stylist, model, hair and makeup team, photographer, and everyone involved in shaping the final visual story.
Louis Brown & Tusks reflects that process: a small creative team building a polished fashion story around styling, design, and collaboration.
